Startup Conference shifts location from The Peabody to Memphis Cook Convention Center

Attendance figures keep climbing for next month’s gathering of entrepreneurs in Memphis and while that’s a public relations bonanza for the city, it’s also created a few scheduling dilemmas.

And so with ticket sales now topping 1,500 and more than 100 startups from around the world signed on to participate, the inaugural startup conference sponsored by Nibletz.com is shifting locations to meet increased demand for space.

Originally set to be held at The Peabody, “Everywhereelse.co The Startup Conference” will now be held Feb. 10-12 at the Memphis Cook Convention Center. The event is generating international buzz and has been listed by Forbes magazine as a “must attend” conference for entrepreneurs.

The conference will offer speed pitch contests, educational and networking forums and panel discussions featuring a variety of speakers, including Priceline chief technology officer and Startup America CEO Scott Case. Hundreds of accredited angel investors will be on hand at the event and “Startup Village” will provide an up close look at some of the hottest new companies from around the world.

In addition, representatives from startup accelerators from across the country will be at the event to consult with entrepreneurs who are considering joining an incubator.
