If you’re entrepreneurially inclined and in case you haven’t heard already, representatives from Austin, Texas-based Aunt Bertha are in Memphis today and hanging out with folks at EmergeMemphis, 516 Tennessee.
Company founder Erine Gray and designer and product manager Shea Sulkin will be on hand to discuss the startup’s origins, how the company has tackled obstacles and offering their perspectives on entrepreneurship. If you’ve got an hour free later today, you’ll definitely want to stop by Emerge and meet these two.
Erine and Shea will be at Emerge from 4 to 5 p.m. and while there’s no cost to stop by and chat with the duo, organizers would like to get an idea of how many folks to expect so go ahead right now and send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and let them know you’ll be there.
Afterward, join them and others from the startup/entrepreneurial community at the inaugural LaunchLounge (formerly Tech Cocktails) that will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Local Gastropub in Overton Square at 2126 Madison.
For a $5 cover, you can enjoy happy hour drink and food specials and know your dollars will make a difference because all proceeds go to support LaunchMemphis programs. No need to sign up, just show up and spend time with some of the brightest creatives in the region.
