Congratulations to Memphian Don Hutson, the best-selling author and world renowned public speaker who has been inducted into London’s World Magazine Sales and Marketing Hall of Fame.
Previous inductees include such familiar names as Dale Carnegie and Zig Ziglar and this year, Don was one of six professionals to be inducted.
This is the latest in a long line of honors for our resident expert on entrepreneurship and marketing, who has conducted more than 6,000 speaking engagements in nearly three dozen countries to date. And that’s on top of co-authoring bestsellers such as “The One Minute Entrepreneur” and “The One Minute Negotiator.”
And Don was one of the founding board members of the National Speakers Association in this country and also served as the organization’s president.
I don’t know when Don finds time to sleep, but he must have discovered some way to maximize his down time to get the most rest in as few hours as possible because he accomplishes more in a month than many folks do in a year.
Creator of the Value-Based Selling System, CEO of U.S. Learning and chairman of Tremendous Life Books, Don earned a degree in marketing from the University of Memphis and went on to a distinguished career in sales before becoming a full-time professional speaker and author. His clients include more than two-thirds of the companies on the Fortune 500 list, he’s a member of the Speakers Roundtable and of the National Speakers Association.
So hats off to you, Don, for your latest accolade. And thanks for making Memphis proud.
