A couple upcoming workshops sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration may be of particular interest to our friends in the Magnolia State, as well as for any Mid-Southerners who plan to be traveling south from Memphis next week.
First up is the “Loans and Startups: First Steps Clinic” that will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on April 29 in Monticello, Miss. The program will be offered in the Lawrence County Courthouse, third floor, and it will focus on SBA lending.
Keynote speaker James Harper, director of the Hinds Community Small Business Development Center, will discuss what lenders look for in loan applications and how SBA loans can help small businesses succeed.
The program is free, but registration is requested. To learn more, contact Jared Evans at 601-587-3007 or send an email to email@example.com, or contact Delores Smith at 601-965-4378, ext. 16, or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
